Save the threads.

Everyday, I'm surrounded by pins, needles and threads. I'm getting to know them quite well and here is 3 simple thoughts that came up to me or why I love threads.
From a sewing perspective to a life metaphor.

1) Pins are useful to pin and secure whatever they maintain together temporally and get a preview of what it could look like if it was stabilized/sewn.
Be careful, if not used properly they can hurt.

2) Needles. Haaa! Well needles absolutely "need" threads to fulfill their function, otherwise, they are just like pins and if they are too thick, they won't even do the job quite as right- you can try! But, a needle is not a pin...Here, also, if not use properly: they can hurt !

3) Threads. Sure in sewing they'll make wonders paired with a needle...But more "independent" than the needles they have other ways to fulfill being threads. They can link anything together on the long run and give sense to a whole. Plus, so far, I never met a thread that hurts...

-In between pins and needles, I try not to loose my threads... I save and hold on to them all, cause at one point, they'll be tight together and will make one long thread.
The knots they will make are ok. They'll give the final tread more character. They are great reminders you are the builder of the thread of your own story !

Do not worry too much about the "pins and needles" if they work for the moment : fine! If not, they can't hurt too long :) instead-focus on saving the things that make senses in your life and doesn't hurt.
-Save the threads. May you have a lot of knots! Aline xox.
